Traditions, the Kingdoms, & Training
disney life has been so so crazy busy, and i am absolutely loving every second of it! our apartment building is fantastic, i love my roommates and my neighbors :) and i am officially a cast member at SPACE MOUNTAIN!! :)))))
last saturday i had traditions, which was our orientation course. we learned all about the history of the disney company, which was super interesting and got me pumped to start working! we also got to take a mini tour of my future work home, the magic kingdom! afterwards, my friend tori and i ran back to MK to ride space mountain and watch the fireworks :) in the past several days i have started my training at the mtn, and i absolutely love it there. the people are so cool, and its seriously one of my favorite rides. getting to ride space mountain every day? i can get used to this :)
it’s been so crazy busy, but during down time i have proceeded to visit animal & magic kingdoms, and epcot! i have gotten pictures with meeko, aurora, belle, cinderella, jasmine, and ALADDIN!! <3 he hugged me and told me to remember him when he comes to space mountain :D ive also gotten to watch wishes at the polynesian & grand floridian which are both such cool locations to watch them from! last night my roommates and i went to epcot and met tons of characters, ate at mexico, and got pastries from france. i forgot how absolutely amazing that park is!
i had training today at 6 am, but it went great and now i am blessed to have a three day weekend! seeing cirque du soliel with the roomies tonight, and hollywood studios & MK tomorrow! more updates to come :))))
Ready, Set, Go!!!
So, as of now i am officially checked and moved into my apartment, and a cast member in Tomorrowland attractions in Magic Kingdom!!!
These past two days have been an absolute whirlwind of activity. Yesterday morning I met my three roommates at Vista Way for check in bright and early. We went through the paperwork and got our apartment then were on the buses to casting! There I found out where I’m working (SO EXCITED!!!) and then went through all the paperwork, etc. The rest of the day was spent moving in and hanging out with my parents before taking them to the airport last night.
Today my roommates and I ran errands and pretty much just got the lay of the land a little bit. After getting all the boring stuff out of the way we went to our first DCP housing party at Vista where I met Mickey and Minnie!! after that we headed over to watch wishes at the polynesian, which needless to say was absolutely fantastic.
super tiring, but super amazing first few days :) :) i still cant believe im here :)
It’s my last day at home…
…and its so surreal!! I cannot believe that I will be heading out bright and early tomorrow morning to the happiest place on earth! i’m going to miss everyone so much, but i’m SO excited to begin this new adventure!!! :) i’ve been wanting this for SO LONG and now that it’s finally here? im ecstatic :D now to finish packing and begin the impossible task of loading the car! more updates to follow!!
